My personal story
Live Your Best Life
I came back to education later in life at 31 and began a fulltime degree in Psychology at Northumbria University. I quickly became a student rep as I was confident to be the bigger voice to rely student views. This then lead to me being the Department Rep and meeting with heads of the department and the university.

I worked hard to voice student views and to help improve the way mental health was viewed and tackled on campus. I won awards for my efforts as Campaigner of the Year, winner of the Welfare and Inclusion award. Outside of university I also won the Pitman Training award for Inspirational Achiever of the year following my efforts at university, running workshops to help inspire others to live their best life and becoming a number one best seller on Amazon with my book about my own personal mental health experiences along with tips and tools to overcome adversity called Beautifully Broken.

Now a masters student I decided that I have been proactive and found myself in a fortunate position to build a great network link, be accepted onto an amazing sponsorship programme with Psychology Consultancy Limited and have a fantastic mentor in the area I am interested in. I now want to share my knowledge and include feedback from others to, so I set up this networking community.

This website and accompanying Linkedin page is to share my tips with others and run interactive sessions so students can meet from all universities in a likeminded environment. I believe together we are stronger and can help build each other up in such uncertain times.

So come join the fun, just watch or join in, the choice is yours, I want to create a safe, friendly and positive space. Feel free to email over any blog posts and lets connect on Linkedin.

Sending positive vibes to you all,
